Nashville Bachlorette: 10 Musts

Writer: Whitney TimmersWhitney Timmers

With Nashville, TN being among the top go-to destinations for bachelorette parties, it’s not hard to find a guide or itinerary that claims to be the best of the best.

And while I’m sure those were all created with great intent, if you’re wanting more of a non-broadway or untraditional Nashville experience, THIS guide is for you.

Last February, my sister and I spent months seeking the lesser known and talked about spots in Nashville to create the most epic 2.5 day itinerary in Music City for my bachelorette trip.

After hitting almost every single place on our very extensive list, I’ve boiled it down to 10 MUST DO’S for any Nashville bachelorette weekend.

Limo rentals in Nashville, TN

1. Rent a Limo 💁🏼‍♀️

Does renting a limo sound totally boujee and completely over the top? Absolutely. Is it worth it for your Nashville bachelorette weekend? Also yes.

If you want to experience the absolute most in Music City in a very short amount of time, this is how you can do it.

We hit 10+ spots in just one day by renting a limo and in the long run it saved so much money on Ubers and Lyfts. Our driver picked us up from our hotel, drove us to each reservation and picked us up whenever we were ready! Not to mention the epic photo op it provided. ⭐️ 10/10 recommend

2. Skip Broadway

If you’ve never been to Nashville, you might read that and think WTF?!

And I totally get it. On social media, Broadway appears to be the most poppin’ thing that Nashville has to offer, but if you take my advice on one thing ever, please let it be this.

Instead of wasting your time spending hours in line trying to get into Tootsie’s and then in more lines trying to get a subpar drink once you’re inside, opt for a few off Broadway options like Hampton Social, Chopper Tiki, White Limozeen and The Dive Motel Bar.

3. Stay at The Dive Motel 🛏

If you’re new to D ouble Dare Creative, you might not yet know that we are absolutely obsessed with all things vintage, retro and mid-century, so you can almost always find me, Whitney, posing in front of breeze block walls and colorful corners, so when I stumbled upon The Dive Motel, as we say around here, I was DEAD!

This far from traditional motel is home to 23 uniquely designed rooms that come complete with a party switch that activates a disco ball and Dive Radio, which brought the ULTIMATE vibe for our retro Dolly disco themed bachelorette weekend.

And it inspired a few of my most recent mug designs, like this one.

4. Brunch & Bowl at Pinewood Social 🎳

Beyond their delicious brunch, Pinewood Social offers the cutest boutique bowling experience and it made for the perfect indoor group activity on our winter weekend in Nashville.

Pro Tip: make reservations so you can skip the line!

5. Play Pinball at Pins Mechanical 🤖

Another crowd favorite was Pins Mechanical featuring walls full of the coolest pinball machines, ping pong, bocce ball, foosball and more.

Grab a drink and kick it here for a few hours!

6. Sip Cocktails at White Limozeen 🥂

I know this one is featured on every Nashville bachelorette itinerary, but for good reason, especially if you’re a Dolly lover!

This infamous bar sits on the rooftop of The Graduate Hotel and sports all pink decor, making the perfect backdrop for your most sparkly outfit and white cowgirl boots. Wear it proud, ladies! It’s what Dolly would do 👏🏼

7. Snap Pics in 12 South 📸

If you’re wondering where all of the best Nashville murals are, they’re here - 12 South.

A few of my personal favorites include:

  • Blue and White Draper James Wall: 2608 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN

  • I Believe In Nashville: 2700 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN

  • Lookin’ Pretty Music City: 2709 12th Avenue South, Nashville, TN

8. Chill at Jasper’s 🤩

Jasper’s is a Nashville neighborhood bar, restaurant and market that truly is your one stop shop for gourmet groceries, drinks, party supplies and gifts to commemorate your time in Music City!

9. Sip Coffee at Barista Parlor ☕️

Ditch the chain coffee shops for one weekend and live like a local instead. Barista Parlor has a few locations, but the one in Germantown is our pick since it has another photo op – and we’ve never been known to skip one of those!

10. Dine at the Mockingbird 🍽

Just like I advise skipping the popular downtown bars, I also encourage you to scope out the lesser known and talked about restaurants, too!

The experience, food and drinks are SO much better in my opinion. My personal favorite from our Nashville bachelorette weekend is The Mockingbird, a chic and modern diner with a delish menu.

And there ya have it - my top 10 must do’s for any Nashville bachelorette weekend. Add these to your list and you and your gals are sure to have a good time!

Cheers 🥂
